Drone flight planning
Skein
Skein plans drone flights that share the same airspace so they do not collide or interfere with each other's radio links. It then monitors the flights while they are in the air.
- Gives each flight its own route and time, clear of other aircraft and closed airspace.
- Gives each drone a radio channel that does not clash with the others.
- Re-routes flights on its own when unknown traffic appears or an area closes.
- Exports plans to Google Earth and TAK, the tools operators already use.
- Runs on a Windows laptop with no internet connection.
